Qu’est-ce que c’est? Aux Montagnes! 12 h Run
Please
be aware of changing mountain weather.
There will be a limited number
of runners participating.
I will be accepting runners who register and meet the criteria for this
12-hour run. A wait list may be maintained if necessary.
The
criteria include completing ALL (#1-#6) of the information below:
1) Ability to request
an application by providing your name, address, and phone number through the
United States Postal Service
along with a SASE
(Self-addressed stamped envelope!).
The following address will be used for all correspondence:
2)
Ability to say the name of the race or make a sincere, attempt in pronunciation during a required phone interview.
3)
Ability to explain what “Qu’est-ce que c’est?” means in English during the above phone interview.
4)
Write and submit an original haiku on any topic of running.

5)
Briefly discuss in writing the potential reasons why online race registration may be detrimental to the sport and spirit of
ultrarunning.
6) Draw and submit a picture depicting “Why did the runner____________________
(Filling in this blank is to be completed by you.)________?”
Use regular colored crayons on a standard, separate 8 1/2 x 11
piece of white paper.
7) All responses in the application request will become the property
of the race director and may be published and used at his discretion.
8) Alternative application
procedures may be fruitlessly searched for on sites such as Active.com where instant acceptance and gratification implies
success.

The actual application form must be completed on an original document, which will be sent to you and contains the raised,
embossed Notary Public seal signifying an actual true application. This form is not transferable to others and copies will
not be accepted. The race committee will not consider the application until the above items,

Final Race Application must
be completed and received by October 25, 2010
