The Race

The Committee was "forced" into selecting a date for 2012. Here it is:

October 13, 2012

Applications will not be avaialable for a long time. This will allow many runners to again not anticipate that the run will be actually held on the date advertized approximately a year before it occurs.

Big Changes are anticipated in the 2012 event. The Committee has already met to address the issue of distributing flyers at other events:

"No, no, no!!! No flyers! Flyers????? Who needs stinkin' flyers?

Anyway, there is a limit on GA runners and it is three (3)."

Plus...Priority will be given to past runners.

Next year's application will be so difficult, that many people will be forced to get part-time help to complete it!

Only fifteen (15) applications will be mailed out next year and only thirteen of those that actually make it back will be allowed to run! Returning to the past years's format, runners can request an application to the run.

(13!... Some runners will have to watch from the sidelines and hope that a runner DNF's so he or she can take their place!)

Like I said, big changes!

The course is designed for the runner who is obsessed with records and who wants to set a record. Every runner who has run this course has set their own person record and observed many other runners set theirs!
